Cetre Pompidou

After a small outing to le Rue de Commerce (about 2 blocks from the apartment), we reentered the world of the living and ventured off to the 1st arr. for a small amount of walking and a lot of modern art.

I was excited about seeing Francis Bacon and Modigliani at the Centre Pompidou, and we were definitely overloaded with some amazing new things to see.
Photographs were allowed, and the modern art sections were curated chronologically and then grouped in units by movement / artist / concept / historic event.

 

 Children's Area at the Museum.  You know, just some fake slime to play in.

 

Mimmo Paladino's Elmo killed it.
