Yesterday we went to Sagrada Familia, the Roman Catholic Basilica that's been in the process of bring built for over 100 years. It was designed by Antonio Gaudì, a Catalan artist known for his unique sense of design. Sagrada Familia was unlike any other building I've ever been in. Every inch was a work of art and just breath taking. The columns were different shades of cream, gray/blue, and rose. Rainbow stained glass windows, sparkling sunbursts in the ceilings, and curved architectural elements were totally surreal.
Parc Grüell was also designed by Gaudì and featured his distinctive designs throughout. It was also a bit surreal, totally beautiful, and had astounding views of the city.
